Have you ever wondered if that old vase your Great-Aunt Alma left you might be worth something? Or that porcelain figurine you purchased at the car boot sale last year because you were certain that it was a rare antique? Well now is your chance to find out!
On Thursday 1st June 2017, we are very excited to announce that Boconnoc will be the final venue for the 16th series of the popular BBC One programme Flog It!
Paul Martin and his team of experts invite members of the public to come along with up to three of their antiques and collectables for a free valuation! If selected for filming, you might be in with a chance of making some money by selling your items at Clarks Auction Rooms in Liskeard on Thursday 22nd June. Everyone who comes along to the valuation day will receive a free appraisal of their items even if they are not selected for filming.
Elizabeth Fortescue, the owner of Boconnoc Estate is delighted to be hosting the show: “We are thrilled that Flog It will be filming at Boconnoc in what is a special year here as we celebrate the 300th anniversary of the purchase of the Estate with the proceeds of the sale of the Pitt Diamond (the largest diamond in the world at the time). We are very much looking forward to seeing the items that people bring and being a part of this wonderful show.”
So start hunting in your attic and come down for a wonderful day out here at the beautiful Boconnoc Estate.
