Boconnoc Hosts the Endurance GB South West‘s Premier Cornish Ride
More than 200 riders from all over the UK will make their way to Cornwall to take part in the Boconnoc Ride organised by Endurance GB South West on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June. This prestigious 2-day event is by far the largest staged in Devon and Cornwall and is fast becoming EGBSW’s flagship event.
Riders visiting from all over the country will compete over a variety of distances from 20 to 50 miles. Chief route designer, Peter Claridge, puts riders through their paces over beautiful parkland, hidden valleys, across acres of open farmland and forestry tracks all set in and around the historical Boconnoc Estate. There are also three Pleasure Rides available each day, with distances of 10, 15 and 20 miles which are popular with local riders.
Elizabeth Fortescue, owner of Boconnoc Estate, says “It is always a pleasure to see the riders exploring the Estate and displaying their superb skills of long distance riding. Good luck to all of those who are competing”.
