The Aston Martin Owners Club are holding their Concours event at Boconnoc on Sunday 17th September. As well as owners competing for the all important trophies, the event will be open for the public to come and peruse the fantastic collection of iconic cars, which will no doubt be buffed and shined to perfection. Amongst the 60 odd cars expected to show, there will be two very special and equally different Aston Martins on display; the very modern and striking Vulcan (only 24 ever made) and the classic Ulster.
The Vulcan is Aston Martin’s Track-only supercar and is the most intense and exhilarating creation to date. The 800-plus bhp, all-carbon fibre Aston Martin Vulcan promises truly extreme performance. The Aston Martin Vulcan is a unique and exclusive creation, designed and engineered using deep and broad motorsport experience and renowned road car expertise. Drawing on a rich heritage, this car tailors its power and handling to both the capabilities of the driver and the characteristics of the track.
This car was built in 1934, one of four built as four seaters and one of only two still in their original configuration. Most Ulsters were converted to two seat race cars. This particular Ulster was given to the Aston Martin Owners Club by member Lewis Treece and later gifted to the Aston Martin Heritage Trust. It can be seen in the Aston Martin Museum on most days, when it is not out at events.
Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to see these impressive cars all in one place, at a beautiful location. There will be plenty of delicious food and drink stands to keep you fueled through the day too. The event will be open to the public from 10am – 4pm and will cost £20 per car of up to five people.
