Some of the UK’s most rare and coveted Aston Martin cars from classic DB5s to modern GT racing cars will be heading to Cornwall for a weekend of Cornish Charm as the Aston Martin Owners Club brings it prestigious Autumn Concours event to the West Country for the first time on Sunday 17th September at Boconnoc House, Lostwithiel. The Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust will be the official charity beneficiary of the event.
The stunning collection of around 40 Aston Martins will be meticulously prepared and displayed on the beautiful lawns of Boconnoc House as members from all over the UK compete for highly prized Aston Martin Owners Club Concours trophies. The Club’s president Viscountess Downe and other dignitaries are expected to attend the event.
The event will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm and will be a great day out for all the family who can come and enjoy seeing the iconic cars and chatting to owners, while enjoying the background of music and shopping a wide variety of produce from Cornish artisans.
There will also be a special display to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the classic Aston Martin DB Mk III organised by the Aston Martin Heritage Trust.
To compete in the Concours entrants must be members of the Aston Martin Owners Club. Membership of the Club is from £99 a year (plus a £30 joining fee). Membership includes a welcome pack, monthly and quarterly publications, exclusive International Dinners and driving tours, access to worldwide advice and car sales forum, official Racing Series, an approved insurance scheme as well as prestigious Club merchandise and hospitality at selected national events. Membership is open to enthusiasts as well as owners.
AMOC is the only officially recognised club for Aston Martin Owners and enthusiasts and is endorsed by Aston Martin Lagonda. The Club has over 6,000 members around the world, around 200 in Cornwall.
Entry on the day is £20 per car with up to five people.
