This event is organised by the St Austell Soroptimists in support of Cornwall Hospice Care.
Take a trip to one of the most beautiful gardens of Cornwall. From the grazing fallow deer in the Deer Park to the centuries-old trees of the ancient woodland, exploring the grounds feels like stepping right into a timeless oil painting.
Begin your tour at the Dorothy Garden, just a quick stroll from Boconnoc House, where fountains burble and flowers turn their faces to the sun. Bring along a camera to capture the vibrancy of the shrubbery, which bursts into blossom, from 34 different varieties of hydrangeas to beautifully scented roses, and for a special escape, explore the palm-fringed paradise of the tropical fountain along the Stewardry Walk around a waterfall, pool and Lady Hamilton’s marble bath, the exotic plants create an ambiance that’s akin to a tropical retreat.
