This candle-lit head massage workshop offers you the chance to receive, learn and share a simple Indian Head Massage routine in a calm and welcoming space.  The ancient practice of Indian Head Massage can help to relieve tension, calm the nervous system as well as simply offer nourishing time-out as a counterpoint to busy everyday life.

You will be welcomed with a mug of herbal tea, then working with a partner, you’ll be guided through a simple head massage routine which one person will offer to the other. After a pause for refreshments, you’ll swap over with your partner so that both have learnt and received the techniques during the session.

You are welcome to book an individual place and will be paired up with another participant at the workshop, or you are welcome to book in pairs – friends, parents, siblings, partners, and children age 12+ are welcome to attend as the partner of their parent/carer. If would like to be paired up with someone else who is booking, please state their name in the booking notes.

You will be wrapped in blankets to keep warm, no oils are used and no prior experience is required. Please note that participants will be fully clothed throughout this workshop.

All resources are provided, including a set of notes outlining the head massage routine for each of you to take away so that you can share the techniques you have learnt with family and friends .
