Explore this Japanese art form of mending a broken vessel, learning what it means to mend to make new and create beauty from brokenness with artist John White.
This day includes your own kintsugi kit to keep, tea, coffee and biscuits plus a delicious homemade soup made using produce from the kitchen garden for lunch.
“As a certified Kintsugi Instructor through Academy Kintsugi I’m pleased to be taking bookings and lead an immersive 3 hour led “Kintsugi Experience” that creates a space wherein we explore the Japanese art form of Kintsugi by mending a broken vessel together and learning what it means to mend to make new and create beauty from brokenness. All participants are encouraged to bring their own broken vessel (not glass) and will receive an official Academy Kintsugi Kit with all the materials that are needed which also allows individuals to further develop their own Kintsugi practice beyond this workshop.”
