Camellias, magnolias, rhododendron and more: a peaceful stroll amidst the gardens is a Boconnoc must. Gardens open to raise money for the Cornwall Hospice Care. Refreshments available in the Stable Yard and dogs most welcome on leads.
‘This year is a very exciting year for us as it is our 40th year of providing hospice care to the people of Cornwall. Mount Edgcumbe hospice in St Austell opened its doors in 1980 and all this was achieved by Enid Dalton-White opening up her garden in Polruan to raise the funds for the build. Not only is 2020 our anniversary it will be the completion of a project to increase our bed capacity at both our hospices by 50% to 24 beds in total for those acutely ill in Cornwall. Additionally we hope to develop community services further than we have ever before, achieving localised provision for the entirety of Cornwall.’
