THE GUT encourages healthy living and offline healing through spiritually and scientifically rooted practices, talks, retreats, meals, and gatherings.
This is a transformative six day cleansing retreat, designed to leave guests feeling energised and revitalised, with a focus on digestive function and body work. What we eat has a direct impact on our overall health, energy and mood. Light menus are designed in conjunction with Petersham Nurseries and acclaimed Harley street nutritional therapist, Phoebe Liebling. Each meal will be tailored to accommodate your diet plan.
This retreat is curated to allow a moment of pause from our day to day lives, in the mornings meditation will allow us to fall back into our beings, yoga allows us to connect to our bodies and breath work to release stresses hidden within. Stress has a direct impact on our gut function, as does what we eat. Understanding how to eat, what foods agree with us and what we can do to improve our microbiome is vital to our cognitive function, energy and wellbeing.
The days will start with a morning meditation, followed by a grounding restorative yoga session, breathwork classes and workshops. The grounds of the estate are to be explored, there are beautiful walks and in the evening you shall gather for candle lit lectures and boardgames.
