One of the South West’s biggest steam fairs

The iconic Steam Fair returned to Boconnoc this weekend on the 27, 28 and 29 of July for another action-packed three days. Despite the unpredictable showers, the spirit of this wonderful event could not be dampened. The origins of the event date back to the late 1990s, when the Fortescue family had just begun the meticulous restoration process that would, over the course of 12 years, transform Boconnoc into the wonderful country house and wedding venue it is today.

One of the largest events of its kind, the Steam Fair always draws the crowds with its vast array of impressive steam engines, vintage vehicles, classic cars and thrilling fair ground rides. This being its 19th year, it certainly has a growing number of visitors that flock to Boconnoc for this key event in the calendar. Year 20 is certainly set to be bigger and better than ever, we hope to see you there.
