Folklore and Fairy Dust…

Boconnoc offers visitors an experience to truly connect with nature at its most magical.

Join us this October half term for an enchanting walk through the stunning grounds of Boconnoc as we search for mythical fairy folk and dragons!

Our trail will lead you through the beautiful gardens where hand crafted willow sculptures of mischievous Cornish Piskeys and legendary dragons will spark wonder and delight.

Fairy wings, dragon outfits and magical wands at the ready!

The Boconnoc fairies need your help!

Friends of our willow fairies are looking for new hats to wear to this autumn.

Please keep an eye out for acorns that have dropped to the ground as you walk around the Enchanted Fairy and Dragon trail, if you are lucky the acorn may still have the little fairy hat attached.

Please collect many as you can and bring them to the Stable Yard on your way back.

The fairies have asked us to plant the acorns and for you to look after them until they grow into an oak tree seedling next spring.

We’d love for you to send us a photo of your little acorn having a nice sleep in your garden or on a window box, and we can’t wait to see it when it wakes up next spring!

Ask an adult to post a photo #boconnocacorns

The trail opens at 10am and closes at 5pm.

Toilets and Refreshments are available on site.

The Majority of paths are grass and pushchairs friendly but outdoor footwear is recommended after prolonged rain. The fairies and Dragons are all positioned in obvious places but you will need to look up as well as down to see them.

There is a trail pack to accompany the experience which includes a map, colouring book, pencils and a ribbon to place on the wishing tree. Priced at £1.50. These are sold separately on site or in advance.

Dogs are welcome at this event, we just ask that they are kept on a lead.
