Aromatherapy Workshop

Learn how to make your own aromatherapy body oil with Clinical Aromatherapist Kit Clancy.

Aromatherapy uses essential oils to naturally promote wellbeing within the mind and body; aiding sleep, boosting your immune system and uplifting your mood are just some of the amazing benefits.

Kit welcomes you to join her for a calming and creative workshop at Boconnoc; teaching you the skills you need to create your own aromatherapy blends.

This interactive session will begin with an introduction to aromatherapy and essential oils, learning how they are made, their specific properties and the benefits of using each oil.

You’ll then be guided through making your own nourishing body oil, which can be used in your self-care rituals such as salt baths or simply as a revitalising skin tonic.

About Kit

“I’m a Clinical Aromatherapist specialising in women’s health, with a passion for creating aromatherapy experiences that relax and restore.

My passion for aromatherapy began whilst working as a distiller for a pioneering gin brand in London.  I had found something where my skills and understanding of aromas married up with my desire to have a more service lead life that positively impacted others.

Aromatherapy really became important to me when I decided it was time to take action in restoring my health.  Like many women, I suffered with chronic stress due to the busy life I was trying to lead by ‘doing it all’. I’m inspired by the simple and natural health benefits of essential oils and hope to inspire other people to incorporate them into their own self-care rituals and seasonal slow living.

Sustainability, quality, and fairness are at the heart of my ingredient sourcing process.  Where possible I aim to use only organic ingredients with minimal, plastic free packaging which can easily be reused or recycled within your own home”
