The Stewardry

Hidden in a serene valley at the heart of the Boconnoc Estate, you will find the wildly romantic Stewardry—an elegant and luxurious 18th-century manor house for up to 14 guests.

The Stewardry has seven beautiful bedrooms, all with their own distinct character and exquisite interiors devised by Sarah Fortescue. The breathtaking gardens at Boconnoc inspired the designs, bringing the outside in and creating an enveloping home of pure comfort. Downstairs, you will find wonderfully sociable reception rooms, quiet corners and spectacular grounds.

Kind Words

Our family stayed at The Stewardry for Christmas ’23, age range 8 months to 87 years. It suited everyone beautifully. The house was immaculate and very well equipped; the team at Boconnoc could not have been more friendly or helpful; the estate is stunning with some lovely walks and the surrounding area is very pretty with lots to explore and do.

Highly recommended!

ONSITE ACTIVITIES

With miles of tracks and woodlands to explore – you can take the dogs on a leisurely stroll or hire our on-site bikes. If you fancy a dip – we have our own lake for some open water swimming – or you can hire our paddleboards and test your balance.

Visit the orchard and pick your own apples (between September – October). See what other onsite activities you can explore.
