THINGS TO DO IN THE LOCAL AREA

Where are the best coastal walks?

Our favourite walk is if you park at Lantic Bay or Lantivet car park and walk all the way along the coast to Polperro, where you will find the Blue Peter Inn that serves big plates of wholesome food. The walk is about three hours there and back. For something shorter, head down the steep cliffs to Lantic Bay or park at Lantivet and take the slightly easier walk to Lantivet beach for an evening swim.

Polruan and Talland Bay which are both about 20 minutes away. At Talland Bay the car park is just by the beach, and there is an excellent café, which hires out kayaks.

There is an abundance of great places to visit during your stay. When you book with us, we send out our accommodation pack which is filled with our favourite restaurants, shops, and villages to visit to help you plan your trip. We just advise that you book restaurants well in advance in the summer as things get very booked up.

There are all sorts of great places for the family, whether you want to see open air theatre or cinema (you can find these happening on the estate over the summer) or explore The Lost Gardens of Heligan or the Eden Project.
