Inspiration for your Cornish adventure
Set up a tennis tournament
Book a slot with the office, borrow our tennis equipment and set up a tournament to rival Wimbledon. Why not indulge in strawberries and Cornish clotted cream on the grass to finish?
Paddle boarding on the lake
Grab a paddle board and take to the lake. Please enquire with the Estate Office who will be able to set you up with paddle boards to borrow. With far reaching views up to the main house, and a weeping willow centre piece this has got to be one of the most picturesque paddles you will have ever encountered.
Take a picnic to the Pinetum
Ask the team to point you in the right direction of the Pinetum, a short walk from Boconnoc House and the cottages. Planted on the globe, the Pinetum features a variety of different pine trees from all over the world. It also makes a pretty perfect picnic spot. May we suggest popping to Lostwithiel or Lerryn stores before hand to seek out some delicious local produce for your picnic.

From the number of monuments, to the abundance of wildlife and flowers and trees – an aimless amble or a biking blitz will leave you feeling thoroughly enriched.
Take a guided tour of Boconnoc House
The winner of the 2012 HHA/Sotheby’s Award for Restoration which was bought with the proceeds of the Pitt Diamond in 1717. Three prime ministers, a history of duels and the architect Sir John Soane play a part in the story of this unique estate. The beautiful woodland garden, the Georgian bath house, Soane stable yard, 15th century church and romantic landscape tempt the explorer. Our next guided tour date is 6th September.
