Dogs are for life
We understand that dogs are an integral part of your family and holidaying with your dog, especially in Cornwall, can add a certain magic to the whole experience.
Our four legged friends are fantastic for getting us out and about, in all the elements, to explore the natural world. Boconnoc has acres to explore without even leaving the Estate. You can roam for hours along winding tracks through the ancient Oak trees, over picturesque bridges, along meandering streams, often without crossing paths with another soul.
Guests, Lucie and Ross, stayed in Dairy House recently with their gorgeous whippet, Lola. They told us “We have had such a great time but I think Lola may have possibly had an even better time! So incredible to have miles of walks right on our doorstep”.
For those who want to venture further, you’ll find a whole playground of beaches, coast paths, woodlands and moorland, just a short drive from your cottage.
Our favourite dog walk is the 3 mile stretch of coast path between Lantivet car park and Polperro. Weave your way along the cliffs, take a refreshing dip at Lansallos and continue on to the fishing village of Polperro. Settle in for lunch at The Blue Peter Inn, which is a fabulous dog friendly pub by the harbour. Leave plenty of time to walk the 3 miles back after lunch!
For a shorter coastal walk, park at Lantic Bay car park and walk to Pencarrow Head where you get spectacular views across the bay.
